Li Alin

Since 1996, Li Alin presents art works questioning evolution strategies and human reproduction. Her projects include a notorious internet sperm bank Eugenie sponsored by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Canadian Cultural Center in Paris, the provocative sperm distribution Weisser Markt in the Zoologischer Stadtgarten Karlsruhe for the exhibition Menschenpark organized by the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung directed by Peter Sloterdijk, EXPOSE her 10 video screens installation created with Cecile Martin during Mutek 2014 in co-present by Recombinant Media Labs, her multidisciplinary performance Royal Mustang presented at La Chapelle, Contemporary Scenes developed at the Tanzhaus NRW in Düsseldorf and her ovum and sperm recruiting session Eugenie 2.0 in the dome of the Society of Art and Technology in Montreal.

Her latest project, Enter Me Tonight (EMT) is a Virtual Reality Installation. First published as a book, EMT is also taking form in sculptures, prints, and a series of reading-performances. It has been presented at the Haus der Elektronischen Künste, in Basel and at republica in Berlin last May 2017.

She is also the co-founder and co-director of Real Art Estate (RAE) space for contemporary arts with Marcus Sendlinger with whom she’s collaborating on different projects: a publication, large scale sculptures, performances, print-paintings and curated exhibitions. RAE opened in May 2016 in Berlin and moved in August in the country side 50km from Berlin. The RAE farm and space for contemporary arts is an experimental interdisciplinary Art Land project that question gentrification and the fragmentation of knowledge.

Marcus Sendlinger

Marcus Sendlinger is known as a painter, musician and curator of wandering exhibitions such as "Wheeling" or "Alptraum". His art works are in private and public collections and were shown e.g. at the Columbus Art Foundation Kunsthalle Ravensburg, TAM Museum Torrance USA, CCA Andratx Collection Mallorca, Spain, Mannheimer Kunstverein, Germany, NKV Wiesbadener Kunstverein, Germany, UGM Maribor Art Gallery, Slovenia and many more. With his band The B-Men he was invited to perform for example at the Folkwang Museum, Essen, The dOCUMENTA 13, Kassel, blank projects Cape Town and many more. Since 2012 he is a board member of the Deutscher Künstlerbund e.V., headquarter Berlin and till 2014 he was a board member of the igbk, Berlin. Since 2015 he colloborates with the Canadian performance artist Li Alin in Painting, Sculpture and performances.
